The Laguna window has four main components: The Menu, the Toolbar, the Map and the Activity Log.
The map is obtained directly from the internet, an active internet connection is required to display the map. The map data is initially obtained based off the zipcode entered for Central during the activation process. You can change this by using the Setup->Central System menu item.
The menu and hot-keys allow you to navigate and use different aspects of the user interface. The menu is grouped into common features:
•Central System - items that affect the PC
•Controller - items that affect the controllers that have been setup for your site
•Weather - items that are related to weather such as micro-climates, rain and ET calendars
•Reports - items that monitor and report the site's health
•Manual Operations - interactions with controllers outside of scheduled activity
•Setup - configure all devices that exist at your site
•Map - navigate and modify the map
•Help - provide help and trigger updates to the latest version of Laguna
Tap the Alt key to access the menu from the keyboard.
Laguna's functions are accessed primarily through the Ribbon Toolbar (or Toolbar for short). It is divided into tabs that group functions according to tasks.
Refer to the Toolbar and Status section for a detailed explanation.
Refer to the Activity Log topic for a detailed explanation of all its features.
