Prior to installing Laguna contact Rain Master to identify that your site is compatible:

Ensure your system conforms to the minimum computer specification

Your operating system is support

If you have a firewall and you plan to use Ethernet based communications, you will be required to allow TCP ports to be open, most commonly port number 10001, Contact your IT department regarding port restrictions.

A user with administrator level privileges will be required to install the software and also to install updates.

Once the Laguna software is installed (see software installation), the application can be started.

In order to use Laguna, a one-time activation key is required to be entered. Each activation key is tied to a Windows PC so a code will need to be obtained from Rain Master.

The activation key will determine whether Laguna operates in basic mode or full unrestricted mode.

Note: The activation key is only required to be entered once, installing updates does not require re-activation.
