User Settings allows Laguna Administrators to manage users, assign controllers to non-administrator accounts and subscribe to alarm notifications. Non-administrators can use this form to view other users and view alarms subscriptions.
Manage Users |
Allows administrators to add users (as administrators and non-administrators), modify user details, modify admin rights, delete other users. |
Controller Assignments |
Allows administrators to assign controllers to non - admin users. |
Alarm Notification |
Allows administrators to subscribe individual users to alarms notifications. |
When you first install Laguna, you will see:
This message will disappear if you are an administrator and have created a new controller
Or you are an administrator and you have assigned controllers to users authorized to use Laguna.
Adding, deleting and modifying user information is explained in Add and Manage Users.
NOTE: It is important to have a valid email address associated to all users who are subscribing to alarm alerts. Email address can be managed by administrators from the Add and Manage Users form.
TIP: You can specify a user to have more that one email by entering multiple email addresses that are separated by a semicolon.
Controller Assignments
Assigning controllers to non admin users is explained in Grant Controller Access.
Alarm Notifications allows administrators to subscribe different alarm types to users.
Whenever an alarm is generated an email is sent to all the users who have subscribed to that alarm.
