Activate Upper and Lower Limits

1.From Laguna desktop, navigate to the Setup drop-down

2.Select Controller

3.On Controller Setup desktop, select target controller

4.(optional) Click on GET SETUP to find current settings

5.Check the box on both Enable Maximum and Enable Minimum

6.Click on SAVE AND SEND

Learn Accurate Field Values

1.From Laguna desktop, navigate to the Controller drop-down

2.Select Current Limits

3.On the Current Limits desktop, select target controller

4.Click on RETRIEVE LIMITS to determine if the controller has any learned values

5.To set new “Nominal” values, click on LEARN NOMINAL. This will establish communication to the controller and sequentially turn on each station for approximately 10 seconds.  The Nominal column values will be populated as the test progresses.

Set Realistic Upper and Lower Limits

1.When the Learn process is finished, highlight all active stations using Microsoft commands (Shift + Ctrl + click)

2.Adjust the Minimum Limit using Min % Adjust – recommend 50% on minimum.

3.Adjust the Maximum Limit using Max % Adjust – recommend 20% on maximum

4.Confirm the Limit Checking is ON on maximum and minimum.

5.Confirm all settings and click on SAVE ALL

6.Click on SEND ALL LIMITS.  This final step is required for values to be sent to the field.

Note: This process can be performed on individual stations as well.
